Drum roll please…..DFW HDI Officer of the Year Nominee

The DFW Local Chapter Officers are proud to nominate Joshua Tooley for 2016 HDI Local Chapter Officer of the Year. We are very fortunate to have the Officer Board we have, dedicating their time to the chapter to make it the best it can be.  Joshua is our leader and inspires us to always be and do better.

Joshua is currently the Associate Director of IT Support at Texas Christian University. He is responsible for directing the IT Call Center, the Second Tier Support and the Quality Assurance Teams.  Under Joshua’s direction, TCU has been recognized as an HDI CSAT Elite Top 50 Support Center for 3 years in a row.  Prior to joining TCU, Joshua was the Frontline Support Manager at Abilene Christian University, where he managed the HelpDesk call center and switchboard operations, the computer repair facilities, programming and developing teams, and the retail copy/production operations.  Somewhere in the midst of all this, Joshua also serves as a Customer Advisory Board Member for Cherwell Software, chairs the Texas Cherwell User’s Group and serves as a Steering Committee Chair for the HDI Higher Education Forum.

Joshua joined the DFW HDI Chapter in 2012 and quickly became the VP of Membership. He increased attendance at meetings, found a way to simplify the registration process and developed a way to identify members vs. non-members at meetings, thus increasing the desire to be a member of HDI.  Within a few years of being an officer on the board, Joshua was voted to become President, where he took the chapter to the next level.  During his first few years of President, we had quite a few openings in the Board due to unforeseen situations.  Joshua was able to take this in stride and kept the chapter running smooth.

Joshua’s passion for this industry is known by all who meet him. He has never met a stranger and always has a smiling face on.  He is warm and inviting to new people and truly does inspire us to all be better.  His caring nature is transparent in his demeanor and everyone loves him almost instantly of meeting him. Joshua is just an amazing person who brings out the best in all who interact with him.

We look forward to honoring Joshua and all the HDI Analyst of the Year and Desktop Technician of the Year nominees at our Awards Banquet on December 9th.  For more information about the banquet, please see out website at www.dfwhdi.org.
